About Us
In 1988, Friends' Health Connection, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization was started with the mission of connecting individuals with the same health challenges for mutual support. Our goal was to ensure that no one had to battle illness alone. Individuals were connected as pen pals and later online.

Today, we are proud to introduce Friends' Health Connection live. We are offering in-person gatherings so people with the same health/life challenges can come together for friendship and mutual support.

Upcoming Event:
Breakfast for Caregivers
Friends' Health Connection is proud to offer a breakfast for caregivers of those battling neurological conditions including Alzheimer's, Dementia Brain Tumors and more.

Our mission is to connect individuals with the same health challenges for mutual support. When you complete the brief questionnaire about yourself and the loved one for whom you are caregiving. If another person (or other people) in a similar caregiving situation expresses interest, we will be in touch to let you know how to register so we can introduce you at the event. Our goal is to seat you with potential friends whose situation matches yours.
If this sounds valuable to you, please click the blue button above that says "I'm interested" and you will be asked a little bit about yourself and your loved one for whom you are caring. If there is a potential friend match, we will be in touch to invite you to register.
In 1992, we added a wellness education series. Over nearly 35 years we have ammassed a wide array of interviews and recordings featuring top experts and health and wellness. Sample a few of these by clicking on a link in the box to the left.
Through the years we have received grants to create series on select topics that were important to us and our members.
Below are links to some of these series.

100 years of research and still no way to screen for - or cure glioblastoma, the most aggressive type of brain cancer.
WE CANNOT WAIT. THE TIME IS NOW.

Motivated by Leo Weisheit's devastating diagnosis of glioblastoma, we are determined to make a difference.
Please join us on this journey as we fight back
and work to create change.

Life with disability can create a fertile breeding ground for domestic violence since it also leads to dependence on another person for everyday physical needs.

To bring awareness to this issue, as well as information to assist those who might be facing abuse or at-risk, Friends’ Health Connection offered an unprecedented online lecture serie
